Planning permission was obtained for the redevelopment of the former HBC engineering brownfield site, into a scheme comprising of 142 dwellings in the coastal community of Minster on Sea. This includes 131 units of (3 to 4-bedroom) houses and 11 affordable units within a 3-storey apartment block.
The development is located on Power Station Road covering 9.7 acres nearby Kent’s stunning coastline and countryside of Minster. It was also important for the site to be sustainable in this area with respect to local services and leisure activities in walking or cycling distance. Surrounding the development is Halfway Houses Primary School, equestrian stables and Sheerness Golf Course.
Development was built out by Persimmon Homes and completed in 2020.
